Security measures for finals game 2

The security measures for finals game 2 (June 9, 21.00) as were decided after the meeting held, are as follows:

1. Panathinaikos BC will be issuing 17,000 tickets.

2. According to the Board and the members of the organizing committee (HEBA)’ decision the hosted team will not be receiving game tickets for its fans.

3.Gates 3,7,9,11,14,15,25,27,29,40 and 46 will be used by the Panathinaikos fans in order to enter the OAKA arena. Once inside they must occupy the seats in the respective gates for which they have purchased tickets as also for the VIP 1 & 2 entrances.

Due to security reasons, the following fans seats will remain vacant

a. The folding sections 103b, 105b, 107b

b. Eight (8) lines of seats times 38 seats in sections 134b, 136b and 138b

5. Moreover

a. With concern of the OAKA administration

All folding sections 103b, 105b, 107b must be gathered and protective plastic shield guards to be applied to the end of the hosted team’s bench, at the respective height of those which guard the bench to form the Greek later Gama (Γ)

The folding sections 134b, 136b and 138b to be pushed back eight (8) seats

All portable metal railings to be cleared from the OAKA arena surrounding areas, except for the ones to fulfill game needs

b. With concern of the home team and in collaboration with the organizing committee (HEBA) that it be adjusted so no speaker installation functions behind the hosted team’s bench.

c. With concern of Panathinaikos BC and in collaboration with the OAKA administration a double protective net to be applied in a Greek Gama form (Γ), which must begin behind the basket at the western side of the indoor hall and end at the extent of the officials’ table in order to avoid the throwing of objects.

d. If it is deemed strategically necessary, police forces to be deployed in a timely manner behind the hosted team’s bench, upon order of the head of measures.

-Also in the locker room area, only police forces to be applied, forces to also gather in the area inside the portable tunnel leading into the court.

6. Olympiacos BC’s entrance into the arena to be committed through the central gym entrance (tunnel), which must extend all the way out to the court line.

7. The Panathinaikos’ fans arrival to the court to be committed individually, Mass Means of Transportation to be mainly used.

8. Fans to undergo strict pre-checking, in two or three zones, in the OAKA arena perimeter, so as to avoid transportation of forbidden or other dangerous objects, as also to keep away all who lack a game ticket.

9. Access to the OAKA arena to be restricted for all fans lacking a ticket with a stamp from the local police department for the specific game or a HEBA or OAKA invitation, as also to all who are clearly inebriated or under the influence of narcotic substances.

10.Occupying of lanes and corridors of fans stands to be forbidden, as also possession and disposal to the crowd of bottled water, sodas, drinks, juices and beverages in general, in glass, metal or other packaging beyond plastic and paper according to 1/2007 Market Police Regulation.

In concern of the OAKA Police Department a respective/memo document will be sent on to the supervisors of the food outlets of the athletic establishment.

11. Disposal of all alcoholic beverages from the outlets of hygienic interests inside the athletic establishment to be forbidden four hours prior and two hours after the end of the athletic meeting.

12. Fans to be approaching to attend the game in question must carry Police issued ID or passport further than the necessary game ticket.

13. Fans carrying banners or placards with obscene contents to not be granted acceptance into the court.

14. All who, based on justified decision of the home team or the organizing committee, estimated on incidents of their character are bound to cause issues, especially in cases of individuals who have broken security laws or are judged suspicious of having committed a crime in the category of court violence or refuse to undergo a body search by the security staff or are under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances, are not to be granted acceptance into the court.

15. If banners are set in the stands in such a way to hamper the electronic supervision installed in the arena with Panathinaikos BC’s concern and after agreement with the head of security measures, must be taken down.

16. The OAKA arena gates will open 3 hours prior to tip-off on game day, hence 18.00 on June 9, 2013.

17. Inside the court only all who have the right and all provided by the championship’s regulation proclamation to exist.
