OAKA time tomorrow and time for finals game 2. Panathinaikos will be facing Olympiacos in Basket League OPAP finals game 2 (June, 9, 21.00) having its fans by its side. Administration, technical staff and players request that the Panathinaikos friends to support their team on yet another occasion do so in a decorous manner, cautiously and that they aid the clover’s effort with their voice, their tone but without extremities. It is something that Panathinaikos BC President, Dimitris Giannakopoulos, also requested at the SEF arena, minutes after the Greens’ win: “We took the first step. But there are other, more difficult games ahead. There is still a long way to the Championship. I would like to kindly request the Panathinaikos fans to perform decently on Sunday. We are to host our archrival Olympiacos. We must respect it. We must respect the sweat and the effort our guys made at SEF. We brought the series to the OAKA. I stress once more: I kindly request the entire Panathinaikos crowd to come to the court and support in any way possible according to athletic ideals. I do not want cussing, sound bombs, or anything of an unsportsmanlike nature. I kindly request the Panathinaikos people to act properly on Sunday”.
