OPAP and Panathinaikos BC Superfoods presented their sponsorship cooperation for the 2017-2018 season, on Monday 18 September 2017. The presentation took place at OPAP’s headquarters, in the presence of the Panathinaikos Superfoods team.
As Panathinaikos BC’s grand sponsor, OPAP, the leading gaming company in Greece, will featur on the team’s official shirts with the logo of popular game PAME STOIXIMA.
Speaking at the presentation, OPAP CEO, Damian Cope, stressed: “Pame Stoixima and Panathinaikos continue together in what is expected to be a long and fascinating season, in which the club will compete at the highest level both in domestic competitions and in the Euroleague. On our side, we will stand beside Panathinaikos and we hope to further deepen our rich collaboration both on the sporting and social level, which has been reflected through numerous activities. Everyone at OPAP wishes the club good luck in the new season both at home and in Europe, and we hope the fans will enjoy a season to remember’’.
On his part, PAO BC Superfoods CEO, Panagiotis Triantopoulos, underlined: ‘’We are very pleased and proud to continue our cooperation with OPAP, which supports Greek sport as well as Greek society. We share the same values and the same vision about Greek sport. Last year we had an excellent collaboration and we worked together in many actions. Our cooperation brought us luck as we won the championship and the Greek cup. We believe that next year our cooperation with OPAP will be even more creative and we will enjoy even more success."
PAO BC Superfoods Team Coach, Xavi Pascual, stated: ‘’We are very pleased about our sponsorship cooperation that will continue for a second season. Last season was very successful and we hope that this success will continue this season, as well. We are very proud to have PAME STOIXIMA featured on ours team’s official shirts, as OPAP is a company that carries out significant social actions."
PAO BC Superfoods Team Leader, Nick Kalathes, mentioned: "We are excited to cooperate and represent OPAP for the second consecutive year. The first year was great for both of us. We won a double, we did a lot of things together and we helped the Greek community. We support OPAP's major initiatives such as the renovation of pediatric hospitals and the Business Development program.”
