The 2013-14 Euroleague draw in Barcelona

First step towards the new season will be committed tomorrow. The Euroleague draw will take place in Barcelona at 13.00 and Panathinaikos will be finding out its opponents for the competition’s regular season.

The 24 Euroleague teams will be divided into four groups of six. The 24th team will be provided from the qualifying round, which will be held behind the participation of 8 teams which are Banvit (Turkey), Nymburk (Czech Republic), Varese (Italy), Oldenburg (Germany), Khimki (Russia), Lietuvos Ritas (Lithuania), Ostend (Belgium), VEF Riga (Latvia).

Panathinaikos is amongst the top Euroleague seeds, along with Barcelona, Olympiacos and Real Madrid. More specifically:

GROUP A: Barcelona, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, Real Madrid

GROUP B: Maccabi Tel Aviv, CSKA Moscow, Montepaschi Siena, Aadolu Efes

GROUP C: Laboral Kutxa Vitoria, Unicaja Malaga, Fenerbahce Ulker, Zalgiris Kaunas

GROUP D: Glatasaray, Lokomotiv Kuban, Budivelnik Kiev, Brose Baskets Bamberg

GROUP E: ΕΑ7 Emporio Armani Milano, Parizan, Stelmet Zielona Gora, Crvena Zvedza

GROUP F: Bayern Munich, Strasbourg, Nanterre, Qualifying round winner
