Yet another achievement on a personal level has been added to Dimitris Diamantidis’ career. The Captain was named to the 2012-13 all Basket League OPAP team, also this season. Diamantidis stressed on the matter: “Prior to anything else I would like to thank all those who voted me and offered me a position on the all-championship team. It is an honor, but the most important thing about the year to pass was that the team first won the Cup and then the Championship. That is what lingers on and that is what everyone will remember. Also, it is a very positive aspect that other Panathinaikos players were also named to the best team. Let us all be well and continue to do what we love the most”.
