Lasme stressed in reference to this double accomplishment, this honor he is being presented with and the importance of the team: “It is the first time I ever reach such an achievement, of being named MVP of the championship. And I am really glad it came in Panathinaikos. It was my first season in the Greek League, but you know what? Panathinaikos is already my family and I feel really glad to have reached this distinction wearing this jersey, with these teammates, this technical staff, these people on the team, of which I will continue to be a part of through the next years. As for my presence on the all-season team, it is as big an honor. And it is also an important fact that 4 out of the 6 players to be featured in it will be all competing in…Green during the next season. I guess it is only natural for Dimitris to be on the all-season team, while our two new players have already proven worthy to be where they are at today! We will try all together also next season for the team, aiming high… as Panathinaikos always does”.
