Panathinaikos departed today, heading to Karpenisi, where the first part of it preparation will be committed. Stephane Lasme did not follow the delegation. He will be remaining in Athens and will be undergoing therapy, since his is facing an injury (bone swelling) which will leave him sidelined for quite some time. Ramel Curry is expected in Athens tomorrow (August 22), will be undergoing medical exams and will be incorporated into the team’s preparation next. The players that travelled with the team are Dimitris Diamantidis, Mike Batiste, James Gist, Ping Shang, Nikos Pappas, Gaios Skordilis, Giorgos Apostolidis, Dimitris Kobodietas and the teens Giorgos Giouzelis and Edinosa Erebenanzie. The team will be returning from Karpenisis on September 3.
