Curry: “A different season”

Today Panathinaikos will be having its first afternoon off in Karpenisi. After this morning’s training session and lunch, the Greens will be getting the chance to rest.

Ramel Curry, one of the last, time-wise, players to arrive at Karpenisi, stated happy to be back with the clover. It is also his first time at the “Montana” resort, since last season he signed on for Panathinaikos at the end of the year: “It is great here and I am happy to be on the team from the very start. I am happy about it, as also I am happy about the fact that most of last season’s players have stayed on the team. It is a positive thing to aid us in bonding faster and establishing our chemistry”.

Curry remembers all too well exactly how last season ended, but underlines that this doesn’t make things easier. “It will be tough. I think that no one has forgotten about the championship finals. But it is exactly due to this, that things will be different, harder; but I can’t wait for the games to begin! A good job must be done here; we must set foundations and built from here”.
