Quite an interesting seminar took place in Beijing in the Congress Hall on Sunday (September 15) morning through which the manner was quested while also views on China’s collaboration on an athletic but moreover a cultural level were discussed openly.
In the presence of the entire Panathinaikos delegation but also of Chinese official, from both the athletic as the political venue, most major presence that of the vice president of the Chinese federation, Li Ying Sheng both sides developed a constructive discussion which kept all attendees’ interest focused.
“I would like to thank you for your presence and express on yet another occasion my belief that these events will be the beginning of more frequent visits of European teams to China as also team from China to Europe. Sports have no frontiers” stressed the vice president of Panathinaikos BC, Manos Papadopoulos.
The Panathinaikos BC Marketing Director, Ilias Katsogiannis, presented the team making reference to its history, its titles but also to all that has taken place from a marketing aspect.
Next both parties exchanged gifts while Manos Papadopoulos was presented (and wore as tradition has it) a traditional garment of the North Chinese region.
There was also a mutual estimation of Chinese coaches traveling to Athens during preseason, for Panathinaikos practices or games for educational reasons as also the presence of the Panathinaikos Head Coach in China, for a seminar. Exchange of expertise was one of the main points of the discussion.
