With a training session in the impressive establishments of the Gymnastic Academy of Beijing, in the presence of many students, the Panathinaikos players fulfilled their obligations during their China tour.
The Panathinaikos squad was greeting with enthusiasm, while teachers but also students of the school watched with great interest the practice also actually keeping some necessary notes.
Next the delegation withdrew to the hotel and the players were allowed free time until 18.00 (LT) when departure from the Beijing airport had been scheduled.
The Panathinaikos delegation is expected in Athens at 09.05 (Tuesday, September 17) filled with experiences and magnificent impressions from its China tour, since it became the first European basketball team ever to cross the most populated country on the planet’s boarders.
Meetings with businessmen
The Panathinaikos BC Marketing Director, Ilias Katsogiannis, fulfilled his contacts with the Chinese businessmen during the team’s stay in China.
On Sunday (September 15) and on Monday (September 16), Ilias Katsogiannis met with representatives from the area of tourism and especially athletic tourism while he also had a series of conversations with executives of television networks not only local of Beijing but also of national range.
