The Hellenic Association of Paraplegics (PA.S.PA) presented in an illustrious event, which took place today (September 20) at the PIKPA Voula establishments, the team which will participate in the Hellenic Wheel Chair Basketball Championship. In view of PA.S.PA’s first ever participation in the O.S.E.K.K. Championship, the Panathinaikos BC president, Dimitris Giannakopoulos, made a grant of 5 state of the art wheel chairs.
The PA.S.PA president, Athanassios Viglas, honored Dimitris Giannakopoulos for his gesture, the Panathinaikos BC Marketing Director, Ilias Katsogiannis to accept the honorary plaque on his behalf. At the same time, the PA.S.PA president made special reference to the clover president’s action, hoping that people might copy it in the future.
