Roko Leni Ukic, after fulfilling his obligations with the National Team of Croatia in Eurobasket 2013, returned to Athens and to Panathinaikos, but not to the practices. Ukic landed last night and today he was examined by the medical staff of the team. The results showed that he has problem in his Achilles tendon on both legs. Ukic is expected to miss six weeks. Ukic will undergo therapy and he will be examined again in one week.
Today it was the first day since the beginning of the training camp that all players were at least present at OAKA. Jonas Maciulis began practicing, while Stephane Lasme participated in a big part of the practice. Loukas Mavrokefalidis and Yorgos Apostolidis are still out due to injuries.
Panathinaikos will fly tomorrow (13.30) to Moscow in order to participate in “Alexander Gomelsky” tournament, next to CSKA Moscow, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Lokomotiv Kuban.
