It's time for the first official game of the season. Panathinaikos will face, tomorrow (8/10, 16.00 DT), Rethymno Aegean at Crete, for the quarterfinals of the Greek Cup. The Greens' preparation concludes today with a practice at "Melina Merkouri" gym at Rethymno.
Jonas Maciulis stated about the game: "It's the first official game of the season and we have to be serious. Rethymno is a very good, competitive team, something we were all able to understand when we faced them on Saturday for the "Petros Ikonomakis" tournament. We have to be really focused in order to get the positive result we need and to make our next step in the competition".
Maciulis added: " We are still at the beginning of the season and it makes sense that we are not ready yet. This is one more reason that forces us to step on the court serious and focused since minute one. It's the only way to get what we want, since the Greek Cup is one of our goals".
