Basket League OPAP premiere for Panathinaikos, team to be facing Olympiacos at the SEF arena tomorrow, at 19:15 (DT), in a clash to be committed behind closed doors. The Greens’ preparation will be completed today, while immediately after this evening’s practice the team will be accommodated at a hotel.
Stephane Lasme, in reference to tomorrow’s encounter, stressed: “We pick up the championship exactly where we left it off last season. With yet another tough clash. I believe that it will be a great test for us, at the dawn of the season, in order for us to establish if we are the same team as last year of if we have improved. Such games are always special, but this time there is also yet another special feature: The fact that there will be no fans in the stands makes the matchup a different deal. It will be tougher on Olympiacos, because it will not have its fans’ support, but it will be tough also for us. I do not believe there is a single player to enjoy a game in an empty court. This is the situation however and we must try our best when we get out on court”.
