The Euroleague’s CSR program “One Team” - Basketball is Everywhere, where Panathinaikos Superfoods participates, continues for the 4th consecutive season.
On Wednesday (9/3), the Basketball team of Special Olympics Hellas visited the “greens” at OAKA and they did practice together.
"Sports brings the company together. It is very important to make nice friendships, , to fill your time constructively and to create strong friendships that can hold for the rest of your life" said One Team Ambassador, team, Ian Vougioukas!
Xavi Pascual stated: "It's fantastic and it's very important! It is very positive for both sides to spend time with the athletes of Special Olympics Hellas. They have the possibility to play with top athletes, but on the other side, we play with top people. It's amazing for both sides. It's something special, you can feel their enthusiasm for basketball. It's very fun and nice to see them. Their love for basketball is pure, they really love the sport. And professional athletes love basketball, of course, but there is something special about how Special Olympics Hellas athletes play. They are playing exclusively because of their love for the game."
From his side, the Ambassador and President of Special Olympics Hellas, Dionysios Kodellas, said: "We are happy and grateful for the support provided by Panathinaikos Superfoods, embracing and basically adopting the Basketball team and beyond the One Team program. I saw the enthusiasm of our athletes every time they were coming to the program, all these weeks. We are delighted that such a big club has "adopted" us. Today we have come and will see our athletes play with your athletes, how they will be happy to meet them and talk to them. I would also like to emphasize in all that Panathinaikos Superfoods does for us, that it motivates their own sponsors to become ours and that is a great achievement."
