Minus 10ºC, snow and fatigue for Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos reached Krasnodar, through Vienna. The "greens" had to face a low temperature, reaching -10ºC. Panathinaikos will be facing tomorrow (18.00) Lokomotiv Kuban for Euroleague, Day 9, without the injured Jonas Maciulis and Nikos Pappas.

Pappas was examined and he returns to Greece

Nikos Pappas, escorted by the doctor of Panathinaikos, Yannis Tsolos, was examined in Milan by Dr Alessandro Castagna and his associate Dr. Rolla. Pappas was tested for his injury at the right elbow and as it was announced it will not be necessary to undergo surgery at this point. Pappas' situation will be reevaluated in the next days. He will continue his therapy in Athens, while next week he will start practicing on his own, supervised by the doctor and the trainer of Panathinaikos.

History

Panathinaikos and Lokomotiv Kuban met just once before, during the season, on the first round game in Heraklion. Russians won 72-69 at Crete.
