The Union "Together for the children" expanding its program "I offer, because I care", cooperates with the Social Groceries in Athens, Pireas and Thessaloniki as part of the campaign "it's important to offer" for the relief of indigent families. On behalf of Panathinaikos BC Antonis Fotsis participated in this campaign. On Saturday the 21st of October he will be at the Public store in Psyhico for the campaign.
Pavlos Tsimas, Giannis Zouganelis, Maria Bekatorou and Smaragda Karydi, are among others popular representatives of media and sports participating, because they want to offer too. At a time when the difficult economic climate affecting more and more families the "Together for Children" and the Social Groceries join forces and invite consumers to help the families in need, gain a decent basic types living.
For the purpose of the campaign, there are two special cards created of 5 € and 20 € with the slogan "It's important to offer". These cards will be available from stores Carrefour and Public in Attica, the Peloponnese and Crete from December the 14th.
The campaign "It's important to offer " aims to help poor families in order to alleviate the already strained family budget of the beneficiaries, to help them long-term to recover from the shock of poverty and of the social exclusion, preserving their dignity, to sensitize the public opinion and to ensure transparency in the process of feeding needy families!
The income of the cards "It's important to offer " will only reinforce poor families with children - regardless of race, nationality or religion - seeking help from cooperating with the Union institutions .
