Security measures for Panathinaikos-Olympiacos (20/1)

A meeting about the security measures regarding the Basket League OPAP game between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos (20/01/2014, 19.30) took place in OAKA.

The security measures as they were decided after the meeting are as follows:

1. 17.700 tickets will be issued by Panathinaikos BC

2. All folding sections 103b, 105b, 107b must be gathered.

3. The folding sections 134b, 136b and 138b to be pushed back eight (8) seats. Right and left of the gate the athletes enter the court will be private security guards.

4. All movable iron railing will be removed from the area surrounding OAKA, except the ones used for the needs of the game.

5. There will be no megaphone speakers behind the bench of Olympiacos.

6. A big net in Γ scheme will be placed around at the arena.

7. Fans of Panathinaikos will approach mainly through Public Transportation.

8. Fans to undergo strict pre-checking, in two or three zones, in the OAKA arena perimeter, so as to avoid transportation of forbidden or other dangerous objects, as also to keep away all who lack a game ticket.

9. Fans carrying banners or placards with obscene contents to not be granted acceptance into the court.

10. Fans to be approaching to attend the game in question must carry Police issued ID or passport further than the necessary game ticket.

11. The gates of OAKA will open at 17.00 on Monday the 20th of January.

12. Any free pass cards are not allowed, with the exception of ESAKE cards.
