Panathinaikos BC OPAP and IST College proceeded with an innovative cooperation, creating the first MBA program for “Sports Management” in Greece, sponsored by a sports club.
Experienced Panathinaikos BC OPAP executives and other great sports personalities will be teaching at IST College in order to impart their knowledge on sports management and create… MBAers!
The students of the MBA program for “Sports Management” will have the opportunity to visit the sports facilities, as well as do their internship with the team or with companies associated with Panathinaikos.
The main goal of the program is for students to acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills to become tomorrow’s "Sports Management".
Specifically, they will learn from specialized executives with administrative knowledge how a team works, how it is managed, how to organize sports events, budget management, human resources management, social media, marketing, sponsorships and the overall development of a sports club.
