Wright is in Athens

Zach Wright has landed in Athens today (21/2, 14/40), in order to play for Panathinaikos BC. The American guard arrived accompanied by his wife Jennifer and his son Zacchai, stated full of will to help his new team to achieve its goals. The COO-CFO of the club, George Chidiac, welcomed him at "Eleftherios Venizelos" airport. He will undergo medical tests and in the afternoon he will participate at the practice of the team at OAKA.

"This is a big opportunity for me, since Panathinaikos is a big club. The team has already an extraordinary roster. I came to assist them. Diamantidis and Ukic are only a couple of the great players the team has. As far as I know Ukic has to deal with some injury problems and I came to play an important role to the team. It was an easy decision for me to come to Panathinaikos. It's a huge organization. I know very well what Panathinaikos means since my times at Rethymno. I am excited to be here in Greece again. When I was informed about the offer from Panathinaikos, I was jumping up and down at my home. It's one of the biggest clubs in Europe. I am happy that I am part of this team. It's a big challenge for me and I am up for this challenge. Since the last time I was here I am older and more mature. I am not here to score 30 points In every game, but to help in defense and offense. I may have a small part, but I am here to give the best every single time. I want to win. I will do anything for Panathinaikos to win".
