ALBA gave its fans reason to celebrate as it knocked off Panathinaikos 87-76 in a Round 19 makeup game in its final home game of the season.
ALBA dominated the offensive rebounds and made 14 three-pointers in winning the third of its last four games to improve to 12-15. Oscar da Silva paced the winners with 16 points and Christ Koumadje tallied 12 points and 8 rebounds. Panathinaikos suffered its fifth loss in the last seven games to fall to 8-19. Nemanja Nedovic was the Greens’ top scorer with 27 points.
