Panathinaikos stood firm to hold off Bayern and claim an 80-67 home win.
The Greens took early control and held several double-digit leads but Bayern kept fighting and came within 65-64, midway through the fourth, before the hosts pulled clear for good. Howard Sant-Roos propelled Panathinaikos with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals, while Bayern was paced by 15 points from Darrun Hilliard.
The hosts improved to 7-17 and Bayern dropped to 12-11.
