Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv remained perfect at home this season as it fought past Panathinaikos Athens for an 85-74 victory to improve to 4-1 - and 4-0 at the Menora Mivtachim Arena. Maccabi gained control in the third quarter and carried it the rest of the way.
Lorenzo Brown paced Maccabi with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists while Wade Baldwin tallied 14 points and 6 assists. Derrick Williams scored 17 points against his former team for Panathinaikos, which dropped to 1-4.
