In a thriller that went to overtime, Valencia Basket edged Panathinaikos Athens at La Fonteta for its first home victory in over a month.
Valencia beat Panathinaikos 94-91 at home to improve to 6-7 in the standings. Bojan Dubljevic led the winners with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Chris Jones added 20 points, James Webb tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds and Jasiel Rivero scored 16 for the hosts. Dwayne Bacon paced the Greens with 22 points. Derrick Williams added 21 points and 9 rebounds, Paris Lee added 12 points and Nate Wolters and Mateusz Ponitka each scored 10 for Panathinaikos, which slipped to 6-7.
