Anadolu Efes Istanbul returned to winning ways on Friday evening by defeating Panathinaikos Athens in its last Turkish Airlines EuroLeague home game at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall in 2022. Efes downed Panathinaikos 88-69 to improve to 8-7 in the standings.
Will Clyburn led the winners with 23 points. Vasilije Micic added 19 and Bryant Dunston had 13, while Amath M'Baye and Rodrigue Beaubois each got 11 for Efes. Dwayne Bacon scored 20 points, all of them in the second half, for Panathinaikos, who dropped to 6-9 in the regular-season table. Derrick Williams added 13 for the guests.
