AS Monaco grabbed its third consecutive victory and rose to fourth in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings following an 84-70 victory against Panathinaikos Athens at Salle Gaston Medecin on Wednesday night.
Monaco improved its record to 17-10 with the win, while Panathinaikos dropped to 8-19 and is now on a nine-game road losing streak. The Greens' last EuroLeague road victory came in early December.
Jordan Loyd and Alpha Diallo led the winners with 18 points apiece, each burying 4 three-point shots. Elie Okobo and Mike James had 12 and 11 points, respectively. Mateusz Ponitka shined for Panathinaikos with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Dwayne Bacon scored 10 against his former team. Monaco pulled down 14 offensive rebounds and limited its turnovers to just 10.
