Panathinaikos Athens snapped a two-game losing streak to improve to 2-3 as it defeated an undermanned Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz 95-81 at home.
The Greens secured the win thanks to a big fourth quarter, as Kostas Mitoglou scored 23 points and Mathias Lessort collected 23 points, 14 rebounds and 2 blocks. Dinos Mitoglou had 23 points as well, while Kostas Sloukas chipped in 12 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists.
Baskonia just could not overcome having only 8 players available, as it falls to 1-4 following a three-game losing streak. Markus Howard had 22 points and both Nico Mannion and Vanja Marinkovic scored 17 points in the loss.
