An extraordinary performance by Grigonis saw him score a season-high 24 points, having gone 7-for-9 from deep. Kendrick Nunn and Dinos Mitoglou netted 14 points each, with Mathias Lessort adding 10. Kostas Sloukas paired his 9 points with 9 assists, meaning he now ranks third all-time in assists with 1,609 after overtaking EuroLeague legend Vassilis Spanoulis. For Efes, Rodrigue Beaubois scored 16 points, Tibor Pleiss had 13 and Elijah Bryant added 12.
A dominant Panathinaikos went 18-for-29 from the field to take a 51-35 lead into the second half. Efes improved and bounced back, outscoring Panathinaikos 32-41 after the break. Yet, it wasn't enough, with the hosts securing a home win despite Efes trimming the deficit to 3 points in crunch time.
