Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens grabbed its sixth consecutive home win in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague by downing Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul 74-63 in the Greek capital on Friday. Panathinaikos improved to 16-10 in the standings while Fenerbahce dropped to 15-11.
Kendrick Nunn led the winners with 23 points. Mathias Lessort added 13 and 8 rebounds for Panathinaikos. Johnathan Motley led Fenerbahce with 16 points. Tarik Biberovic and Nick Calathes each added 12 while Scottie Wilbekin had 10 for the guests, who would have the tie-break advantage if both teams finish the regular season with the same record. Calathes dished his 2,000th assists during the game, becoming the first player to reach this milestone.
