Dimitris Diamantidis was one of Euroleague's special guests in the presentation of the new NBA2K14 in Madrid. The new NBA2K14 is featuring teams and players playing in Euroleague. Diamantidis talked about the game and the fans of Panathinaikos, hoping they will enjoy both the game and real basketball on the court.

-A lot of excitement with the new season about to start. Euroleague gets more and more interesting and tough. What can fans expect from this year's Euroleague?

"Like you said, Euroleague is tough and all the teams are very good. They all play in high level. There are good players, good coaches and I hope that the fans will enjoy the basketball games and they will give more power and energy to us. As far as our team concerns, we just hope to do our best".

-Speaking of fans what kind of impact your team's fans make in Euroleague? How important they are to your team?

"They are very important for us! They give us a lot of energy and a lot of spirit to play with heart. We will not have them for two games and it is bad for us. But we'll try to do our best . It's going to be hard. We play basketball for the people who come to see us. So I hope that this year more Panathinaikos fans will come to see us and enjoy basketball".

-How much do you believe fans will enjoy playing NBA2K14 with Euroleague players?

"If I want to be honest I can't say from personal experience, because I don't have a good relationship with video games or computers. In spite of that and from what I saw today, I believe that the fans will enjoy this game, because the characters are so real! It's like the players are real! I hope that fans will be gathering to play this game too!"

-Why you never wanted to play in the NBA?

"I didn't want to play to the NBA, because the way I play is different than the way the play in the NBA . I prefer Europe and Panathinaikos, since I don't want to play in any other team".

-What about the National Team of Greece and Eurobasket2013?

"We respect all the players and their effort. The result was not good enough, because of the fatigue and the injuries"
